eurolife.03

The Centenary of International Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting starts in 2010 and so the Europe Region WAGGGS wants to kick of this celebration by bringing together members from all over Europe to eurolife.03 from 28 December 2009 to 2 January 2010.

In two different centres (Sweden and Germany), Guides and Scouts will have the opportunity to participate in the same programme of activities while being connected through IT and enjoying the local traditions. During
eurolife.03 participants will have the chance to discuss and work on projects related to some of the most serious issues facing people all over the world and work out what is their contribution to making our world a better place.

  • Awareness of international challenges linked with the Global Action Theme
  • Networking of Rovers and Rangers and their personal development

Suggested follow up by participants and their associations
After the event participants are expected to share the knowledge they gained and to motivate their peers to get involved in the GAT and the Centenary celebrations.
