Advocacy Group
The advocacy work of the Europe Region WAGGGS is supported by 17 young women who were nominated by Member Organizations belonging to the Europe Region to participate in the group at the beginning of the triennium.
Members of the group support the advocacy work of the region by:
- Representing WAGGGS and its interests at meetings, working groups and other activities organized at European level, and helping to inform Member Organizations about European issues relevant to Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting
- Following and contributing to developing the position of the region on issues of importance and interest to WAGGGS
- Supporting Member Organizations to include advocacy in their Educational Programme and train their leaders in WAGGGS’ advocacy issues.
